Yes. Our trained experts will come to your home or business and work with you to create an affordable, custom-designed system adapted to your individual lifestyle that will fulfill your protection needs
What kind of qualifications do your employees have?
All of our employees undergo an extensive background and security check. Each of our technicians is licensed and certified in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The central station employees (monitoring station) undergo extensive training to qualify for the position. All of our employees are continually educated through additional schooling, seminars, and internal training.
What kind of monitoring will my home or business protection systems provide?
Home & Commercial Security offers a few different types of monitoring. Our central station is monitoring your alarm, 24 hours a day. If an alarm is tripped, we will call the proper authorities needed and your designees as agreed upon. We can also respond to the alarm condition if you choose to have our company do so.
What is the difference between basic digital and secured monitoring?
Basic digital involves communication, through the phone line, from your home or business to our central station. Average communication time for basic digital monitoring is 30 to 60 seconds. Secured monitoring is a wireless signal sent to the central station. Communication time ranges from 2 to 5 seconds. Secured monitoring protects against phone line cuts and other tampering of the phone line.
What is the weakest link in my alarm system?
The weakest link in your alarm system is your telephone line. Telephone line cuts are occurring at an increasing rate in the past five years. Problems with the telephone line can also occur from storms, accidents, and periods when phone companies are working on the lines.
Can I purchase a package deal that will cover all of my protection needs?
No, a package deal will not satisfy all of your protection needs. Many packages are offered, but not one will be adequate. One of our trained experts will help you to design a system that will meet your protection needs, as well as your budget.

Home & Commercial Security can service all types of protection systems.
Why do I need to monitor for fire and carbon monoxide?
Carbon monoxide is known as the silent killer. Many people are killed in their sleep because carbon monoxide is an odorless, colorless gas. A monitored carbon monoxide detector will communicate a signal to our central station, whether you are sleeping or away from home. Our dispatcher will send the proper authorities to assure you are all right. A monitored fire alarm will also notify our central station, whether you are home or away. Fire alarm monitoring will insure that your property and family is protected, 24 hours a day.
